Camel trekking in Merzouga desert is for sure the highlight of all Morocco tours. To experience one night, riding the camel and spending it at a Berber camp you have to arrive early. Usually, two hours before sunset so that we can watch it on the way or when we arrive at the camp.
Firstly, we will ride the camels and drive through the golden dunes. However, our camel man will make many stops on the way to take you pictures and allow you to take some for yourself. In a while, we will have arrived at our luxury camp. we will start it by serving a delicious Moroccan meal. Further, our team will make fire getting ready to play you drums. You will enjoy your time with the Berber Music under the starry sky. In case if you want, you can have the camels back to the place where we started from. Yet, you can also have a 4×4 ride back to the meeting point.
2 nights camel trekking in Merzouga
The two nights camel trekking in Merzouga desert offers a little bit from the one night. The first day is as we mentioned above. However, on the second day of this trip we offer you a desert trip to explore the desert surroundings. In general, we will begin by visiting Morocco Auto National Museum, a place where you will discover many different old 4×4 cars. Then we will be heading to Khamlia, a small village, where Gnawa people live. We will stop by this place and listen to their music. Our journey continues, this time we will go to visit mines of kohl in M’Ifiss, a place that was settled by the French administration. Thereafter, we will head to discover another lifestyle, the Berber Nomads that still live in tents.
After having lunch with the Nomads, we will have to leave to some of the best panoramic places to enjoy the desert view. last but not least, we will go to visit the O’asis. Finally, we will take you back to the hotel or camp depending on your choice.
Ride a camel "Nomad" (3 nights) on the sand dunes of Elg Sheby.
The journey begins after a casual lunch (depending on when you arrive). The camels were packed with food, blankets and everything we needed. The trek starts in the desert and begins our planned plan. Take us to a small oasis in the middle of the sand dunes and spend a night here.
It will be a magical night, the sky is extremely clear and the stars are shining. There will be a wonderful dinner by the campfire. Drum part. In the morning, after breakfast, we need about 2 hours of camel to reach the next destination. Next to a tree in the Tamaris Desert, we will have lunch for about 1.5 hours.We will have lunch in the shade of this tree.
After lunch, we went to the Tuareg family, they will spend the second night with them and share some time. We will go the next day after breakfast with Tuareg. To another small oasis in the desert. Before arriving at the camp, we will rest at lunch time. You will spend the third night with a nomadic Berber family living in this special oasis. At dinner, we held a great encouragement meeting. After breakfast, we return to the town or house.
Every day includes 90 minutes to 2 hours of walking or camel riding.
