Imagine a city with ancient domes, wide boulevards, and green spaces. On the way there, you’ll pass through Larache, a unique town with a blend of Andalusian and Arabic influences, right on the Atlantic coast.

Day 2: Rabat to Fes

After breakfast on day two with breakfast, then it’s time to leave Rabat behind. We’ll travel through vast farmlands to Meknes, nicknamed “the Moroccan Versailles.” This grand city was founded in the 17th century and boasts impressive architecture.

Snap photos at the massive Bab El Mansour gate, a true showstopper. Next, we’ll delve into the heart of Meknes with a city tour that includes the Harri Souani stables (once home to impressive royal horses), the old Medina (market area), and the beautiful royal palace.

Ready for another stop? We’ll head to the sacred town of Moulay Idriss, a pilgrimage site for many Moroccans. After some independent lunchtime, for a step back in time at Volubilis, UNESCO-listed Roman ruins stand proudly.

Our final destination today is Fes, where you’ll check into your hotel and rest for another day.

Day 3: Full day to explore Fes

Today, we’ll dive into the heart of Fes, a city with a sprawling Medina (old town) that feels frozen in time. Imagine narrow, winding alleys where donkeys and mules are the main mode of transport!

Prepare to be bombarded with amazing smells as you explore the souk, a bustling marketplace overflowing with spices and perfumes. But be warned, the tanneries (leather workshops) have a strong odor – a unique experience, but not for the faint of heart! Don’t worry, the beautiful leather goods they produce make fantastic souvenirs.

After soaking up the sights and smells, you’ll have free time to wander around, grab a bite to eat, or find hidden treasures in the shops. Overnight in Fes will give you time to reflect on this extraordinary day.

Day 4: Fes to Tangier

It’s time to say goodbye to Fes, but the adventure isn’t over yet! After breakfast, we’ll travel through scenic farmland and charming villages before reaching the majestic Rif Mountains. Get your cameras ready because we’re stopping at Chefchaouen, the “Blue Pearl”.

Nestled in the mountains, this town is a photographer’s dream. Imagine steep, narrow streets lined with buildings painted in blue and indigo. Look everywhere you, there are squares, ornate fountains, and houses with beautiful details.
