Day 1: Casablanca to Fes via Rabat

On the first day of our 6 days tour in Morocco from Casablanca, we will meet you at your accommodation / or at Casablanca airport and start our 6 days Morocco tour from Casablanca to Marrakech. We will visit Hassan II in Casablanca, the largest mosque in Africa. Then, we travel to Fez via Rabat, We will discover the best attractions of this city, such as the Hassan Tower, Chellah, and Oudaya Kasbah.

We will have free time to have lunch somewhere. In the afternoon we will take the road and drive directly to Fez “the spiritual city of Morocco”. In the evening, we will arrive in Fes and spend the night with dinner included in a Riad / or traditional Hotel in the heart of the old Medina.

Day 2: Full day in Fes

After breakfast, you will start discovering Morocco’s most historical and cultural city. In Fez “the spiritual city of Morocco” you will visit the medina, with its architecture. Our guided tour in Fez includes many monuments, such as the Jewish quarter (Mellah) and the Dar El Makhzen or the Royal Palace with its colorful mosaic architecture and golden doors. The famous Chaouwara tanneries are the largest leather workshop in the city built in the eleventh century. The Kairaouine Mosque (the ancient school of Islamic learning), is also one of the oldest universities in the world, while non-Muslims cannot enter, but you can admire the from the gates. The marble fountain of Najjarine and Al-Attarine Madrassa is a religious school with some of the most striking Islamic architecture. Bou Inania Medersa is one of most architecturally beautiful theological universities.

Will have time for lunch at a local Moroccan restaurant. After discovering the arch of Bab Boujloud, its mosaics changed color from blue on the outer wall to green on the inner wall to detect the sacred color of Islam. Stroll through the streets and markets of the medina. Later we will take you to the panoramic place to have an incredible view of the extensive medina of Fez El-Bali, dinner, and overnight at the same Riad in the medina.

Day 3: Fes to Merzouga

After breakfast, we will continue our 6 days Morocco tour from Casablanca, leave Fez and drive through the Middle Atlas Mountains. We will stop in the town of Ifrane, known as “the Switzerland of Morocco”. We will stop in the Cedar forest near Azrou, where we can observe barbarian monkeys. Then to Midelt the famous apple village where we will have free time for lunch. Then in the afternoon, we will head to the Sahara desert towards the Tizi N’talghoumte pass (1907m), passing through small Berber villages and the wonderful Ziz Valley near the city of Errachidia. After that, we will continue to Merzouga through Aoufous and Erfoud, in 2 hours driving we will connect with the magic land of the dunes (Erg-Chebbi) where we will have dinner and stay in a local hotel / Riad.

Day 4: Merzouga desert tour

After breakfast, we will start our trip through the dunes of Erg-Chebbi. We will explore many interesting places in the area, such as the lake of Merzouga (not always full of water) to see the types of birds (ducks and flamingos) that come to live in this lake, especially in spring. We will visit the village of Khamliya where you will listen to African music (Gnawa) performed by people originally from black Africa, then we will continue our tour through the desert off the road to the black desert behind the dunes of Erg-Chebbi.We will visit an abandoned village where working mineral fossils are found, then drive to visit a nomadic Berber family to see their way of life.

Return to Khamliya for lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon you will start the adventure of a Camel ride, through the beautiful and unique orange dunes to the desert camp. A great experience where you can feed your soul, and enjoy the wonderful sunset from the middle of the dunes. Dinner and night will be at the camp, music will be played and you can have fun in the dunes under millions of stars.

Day 5: Merzouga to Boumaln Dades

On the 5th day of our 6 days tour from Casablanca, it is better to get up early to enjoy the beautiful sunrise, after breakfast and shower return by camel/vehicle to the exit of the village of Merzouga to the town of Rissani. We will walk through the famous, traditional, largest market, and local products and handicrafts. It is best to visit Rissani on one of the following days: Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday. On these three days, it is a souk, so they are good days for people from the desert area who want to shop. Later we travel to Tinghir along the Tafilalt Oasis where we can stop to see the ancient irrigation system found there.

Arriving in the village of Tinjdad, will have free time for lunch. Then, continuing to Tinghir to explore the breathtaking views of the Todra Valley and walk along the Todra Gorges with its orange cliffs, the Todra Gorges are almost 1,000 feet deep, it is also a favorite place for climbers. We will end our day in Boumalne Dades with its green valley, dinner, and overnight in a hotel or Riad.

Day 6: Boumaln to Marrakech

After breakfast, we will travel to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah through the land of Roses and the road of thousands of Kasbahs. We will reach Ouarzazate, famous as “the Hollywood of Africa”, where we will stop to photograph the Kasbah Taourirte and visit the world-renowned film studio (Atlas Studios). Then we continue to the next point ancient Kasbah of Ait-Benhaddou. This fortified walled city was built: caravan road between Marrakech and the Sahara and was once a thriving trading post during the 17th century. Within the high mud walls are 6 Kasbahs and houses, Ait Benhaddou has been featured in several movies, including Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia.

After the visit to the Kasbah, we will have a lunch break in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we will continue our tour to the end point of Marrakech through the High Atlas passes. On the way, we will make stops to enjoy the breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and the Tizi N’tichka Pass (2260 m). Finally, our 6 days tour in Morocco from Casablanca will end once we reach Marrakech in the evening at your accommodation.
