Day 1: Agadir – Essaouira

Today, at 8 p.m., our 7 days tour from Agadir to Merzouga departs from your hotel to Essaouira to Sidi Kaouki, where we will have lunch and a rest before continuing to Essaouira Mogador, where we will stay and have breakfast.

Day 2: Essaouira – Marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll transport you to Marrakech to see the city’s highlights; the travel from Essaouira will take around 3 hours. After arriving in Marrakech, we will meet our Local Guide who will show us around the ancient sites and landmarks such as the Bahia Palace, Saadian Tombs, Majorelle Garden, and the old Medina. Our Tour Guide will stop at 5 p.m. and transport you to your hotel.

Day 3: Marrakech – Dades Gorges

We will depart from your riad to the Dades Valley through the Tizi n’Tiichka mountain pass. We stop at Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site famous for filming Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, and Alexander. We’ll travel to Ouarzazate to see the Taourirt Kasbah and the local movie studio. Then, on a private 7-day tour from Agadir to Merzouga via the Roses Valley, passing through the Berber settlement of Kalaat M’Gouna, proceed to the Dadès Gorges. We will spend the night in a local riad/hotel, where we will be served a typical Moroccan meal and breakfast.

Day 4: Dades Gorges – Merzouga

After breakfast, we will travel to the Sahara Desert to spend a memorable night under the stars, but first, we must visit some important places such as Boumalnee Dades, a small town that grew from a humble beginning. Then it’s on to the Todra Gorges, which are particularly lovely in the evening when the Rocks are painted in bands of bright sunlight and dark shade. We will stop for lunch in the beautiful Gorges and arrive at our destination around 4 – 5 pm.

Day 5: Merzouga desert tour

Our private 7 days tour from Agadir to Merzouga continues with a sunrise over the dunes, followed by a camel ride back to the hotel for showers and breakfast. We then visit some of the Merzouga area’s oasis before continuing to explore the nomad life, lunch in Khamliya village, and relaxing dinner and breakfast included.

Day 6: Merzouga – Ouarzazate

We continue our Morocco tour to Ouarzazate, through Alnif, Tazzarine, and Nkob. We arrive at Ouarzazate in the afternoon after going through the Draa Valley. This evening, we will stay in a small riad/hotel and have a typical Moroccan meal and breakfast.

Day 7: Ouarzazate – Agadir

Taroudant and Tazenakht are included in our 7 days tour from Agadir to Merzouga. Taroudant is known for its red-brown crenelated walls. It is sometimes “Marrakech’s grandma” or “Marrakech’s elder brother,” but it is just a half-cousin. Some of the qualities of its more well-known neighbor across the Tazenakht Though much of the town is northwest of the route, the test pass, stop, and lunch in Tazenakht are at an important crossroads. On Fridays, you will visit the market and carpet chops before arriving in Agadir late in the afternoon.

My boyfriend and I had a fantastic weekend in Morocco with Trips Around Morocco. Mohamed, our driver, drove us on a 7 days vacation from Agadir to Merzouga, and he well exceeded our expectations. He is a true gentleman, giving us plenty of time to stop and enjoy the scenery. Mohamed, a nomad, asked us to dinner with his family, where we enjoyed great meals. We’ll do it again with you guys!!
