Day 1: Fes to Merzouga

Our 3-day adventure starts in Fes! We’ll pick you up from a meeting point and head towards Merzouga, stopping at interesting places, The first stop is in Ifrane, the “Switzerland of Morocco,” known for its cleanliness and cool mountain air. Next, we’ll enter the Cedar Forest, once home to many animals, some now extinct.

Continuing our journey, we’ll pass through Zaida, famous for its beautiful woodwork, and Midelt, known for its delicious apples. Finally, we’ll enter the Ziz Valley, Morocco’s biggest source of dates. After a short drive, we’ll reach the desert! Here, you’ll ride camels across the dunes, enjoy a magical sunset, and spend the night under a sky full of stars.

Day 2: Merzouga Desert Tour

Get ready for a full day exploring the desert! We’ll start by visiting the Moroccan National Auto Museum, followed by a trip to the small village of Khamlia, where you can experience the unique Gnaoua music. Next, we’ll venture deeper into the desert to meet nomads who still live a traditional life in tents.

The adventure continues with visits to both Miifiss and the breathtaking panorama of Glbnass. Finally, we’ll wrap up the day at the Oasis of Hassi Labied, a lush haven in the desert.

Day 3: Merzouga Back to Fes

After breakfast, we’ll Take the road back to Fes, But don’t worry, we’ll make plenty of stops along the way so you can capture all the amazing sights on camera!

My wife and I took a short trip to Morocco with Trips Around Morocco. It was incredible! We packed a lot in, seeing kasbahs, filming locations, and crossing the Atlas Mountains with our guide Hassan. Trips Around Morocco made everything so easy and enjoyable. I highly recommend them and would definitely use them again on a future trip!
