Get ready for a movie buff moment! After breakfast, we’ll visit a famous film studio in Ouarzazate. Next, we’ll travel through stunning landscapes, exploring the rose-growing region of Skoura and Dades, dramatic canyons carved by rivers. We’ll also stop by Erfoud, a town known for its delicious dates and interesting fossils. Finally, we’ll relax for the night at a desert hotel in Merzouga, enjoying delicious meals.

Day 3: Merzouga desert tour

Today is all about the desert! We’ll hop in a comfy 4×4 and explore the charming town of Khamlia, where we’ll be captivated by the sounds of Gnawa music. We’ll embark on a camel trek, riding across the golden sands to a traditional desert camp deep in the dunes. Here, we’ll spend the night under a blanket of stars, enjoying a tasty Berber dinner and listening to the rhythm of local drums.

Day 4: Merzouga to Ouarzazate

After waking up to a magical desert sunrise, we’ll ride our camels back to the village of Merzouga. Refreshed by breakfast, we’ll continue our journey through the scenic Draa Valley, eventually reaching Ouarzazate for another overnight stay with dinner at a cozy riad.

On the Fifth day of our trip, we’ll visit Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and Morocco’s most famous Kasbah. After visiting the history and culture of this Kasbah, we’ll head back to Agadir.

Since this is a 6-day adventure, you’ll have this last day to relax and explore Agadir, If you’re feeling good on the beach, soak up the sun on the beautiful crescent beach. My partner and I traveled to Morocco with Trips Around Morocco and had an amazing time. We took a 6 days tour from Agadir to Merzouga with Mohamed as our driver, and he exceeded our expectations. He is a great gentleman, and he allows us ample time to stop and take in the views. Mohamed is a nomad, and he invited us to eat with his family, where we ate delicious food. We’ll do it with you guys again!!
