We set out in Agadir. Before relaxing into a comfortable riad in Ouarzazate, we will make a detour at Taroudant, one of Morocco’s oldest cities.
Prepare yourself for a movie-loving moment! We’ll go to a well-known Ouarzazate film studio after breakfast. After that, we’ll journey through breathtaking scenery, discovering the rose-growing region of Skoura and Dades, as well as striking river-carved canyons. Additionally, we’ll visit Erfoud, a town renowned for its mouthwatering dates and fascinating fossils. Lastly, we’ll unwind for the evening while savoring delectable meals at a desert hotel in Merzouga.
It’s all about the desert today! The strains of Gnawa music will enthrall us as we visit the quaint village of Khamlia in a comfortable 4×4. To reach a traditional desert tent tucked away in the dunes, we’ll set out on a camel trek across the golden sands. Here, we’ll eat a delicious Berber meal and listen to the beat of regional drums while spending the night beneath a blanket of stars.
We will ride our camels back to the village of Merzouga after awakening to a breathtaking desert sunrise. After breakfast, we’ll travel through the picturesque Draa Valley until we arrive in Ouarzazate, where we’ll spend another night and have dinner in a comfortable riad.
We will visit Ait Benhaddou, Morocco’s most well-known Kasbah and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, on the fifth day of our journey. We will return to Agadir after exploring the history and culture of beautiful Kasbah.
You will have this final day to unwind and explore Agadir because this is a 6 days tour. Enjoy the sun on the stunning crescent beach if you’re in a good mood. One of the best trips we’ve ever taken was the 6-day tour from Agadir. From the desert to the mountains, there was something new to discover every day. Our guide was kind and informed, the accommodations were tidy and cozy, and the views were breathtaking. We will always remember the Merzouga camel ride at twilight.
